Possum in the tree

One night, cooling down in the garden, we heard a noise in the tree, looked up and there was a possum looking at us.
Gerrie hates spiders, but he couldn't resist to demonstrate just how big this one was, with a large web stretching across the garden. It became a pet, and was there for weeks.
We get a lot of lizards wandering around, but this one was the biggest that we have seen.
There are really spectacular sunsets and rainbows, just a pity that the digital camera can't do them real justice.
There are a couple of magpies who have been visiting Mum for years now, dropping in for some crushed nuts a couple of times a day. |
